Welcome to the official Hugging Face organization of Complex Data Lab (CDL)!

We are a group of faculty members, researchers and students affiliated with McGill University, Université de Montréal and Mila Quebec AI Institute, both located in Montreal, Canada. We often collaborate with researchers around the world.

Mission 🌍

Our mission is to develop innovative tools and methodologies for understanding and modeling complex datasets. We strive to push the boundaries of knowledge by:

• Building state-of-the-art machine learning models and algorithms.
• Applying data science techniques to real-world problems in various fields.
• Collaborating with researchers, students, and industry partners to foster innovation.

Projects 🚀

Here, you'll find our ongoing and past projects, including:

• OpenFake: A dataset for evaluating deepfake detection and misinformation mitigation in the context of politically relevant media
• BluePrint: An anonymized and PII-removed BlueSky dataset for testing social media based personas
• MisInfo Dataset: Aggregated datasets of misinfo datasets, collated into single column veracity
